You don't have to "move on"
Nora McInerny on why laughter is not a betrayal, and why going on is not the same as moving on.
In this talk the American writer Nora McInerny says what grieving people often do not dare to: laughter is not a betrayal, and going on is not moving on. The talk is in English. It is here because one sentence of it is what this site is about.
“You’ll get over it” is well meant. It still says that the dead person has to disappear before you can be all right. McInerny suggests something else. You go on, and you carry the person who died with you.
